On August 5th, neighborhoods across the country will come together to celebrate National Night Out, a powerful annual event designed to strengthen the relationships between local law enforcement and the communities they serve. Here in the Fife, Milton, and Edgewood (FME) area, we’re proud to be part of a region that embraces this night of connection, safety, and fun.
As members of the FME Chamber of Commerce, Maddock & Associates is honored to be part of a business community that supports strong neighborhood ties and public safety partnerships. We believe that safer, healthier communities begin with trust, communication, and a shared commitment to well-being — values we also bring to our work in employee benefits.
What Is National Night Out?
Held on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out encourages police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. It’s a time when residents gather for block parties, cookouts, and events hosted by local police departments — all to build relationships and promote crime prevention.

- Milton is planning a community event filled with activities, food, and outreach.
- Edgewood invites families to join in for a night of games, snacks, and meeting local officers and firefighters.

Why It Matters to Us
At Maddock & Associates, we’re all about people: protecting them, supporting them, and helping them thrive. We admire the spirit of National Night Out because it mirrors our approach to health benefits: listening, partnering, and looking out for the people we serve.
We encourage all our fellow Chamber members, clients, and community members to take part in this meaningful evening. Bring the kids, meet your neighbors, shake a police officer’s hand... and most of all, celebrate the power of community.
Let’s continue to make the FME region a safer, stronger place to live, work, and grow together.
